Restaurant Koski’s event venue and cabinets in central Tampere

Modern and stylish Restaurant Koski welcomes guests in a unique industrial setting on Kirkkokatu, right next to Laukontori in the centre of Tampere. The beautiful restaurant hall features old red-brick walls and large, bright windows that create an impressive atmosphere for both celebrations and business events.

The flavours served at Koski are based on Finnish ingredients and, whenever possible, locally sourced produce.

Koski is available by reservation in the evenings and at weekends. Every event is planned and prepared according to the customer’s wishes.

A unique industrial setting and spacious restaurant hall

Restaurant Koski is located in the Kauppaseura building on Kirkkokatu in central Tampere. The spacious restaurant hall, renovated into a unique industrial-style venue, can host events of up to 160 guests. The space can be arranged into several different table layouts and can also be adapted for smaller private events.

The restaurant hall includes Wi-Fi, a projector, a large screen, two microphones and a sound system. The sound system also allows music to be played from a computer or mobile device. A Framery phone booth is also available for private phone calls.

Restaurant Koski is unfortunately not fully accessible. The entrance to the building is at street level, but the restaurant itself is located on the second floor, accessible via a fairly long staircase. Accessible entry can be arranged separately through the nearby Tampereen Kauppaseura premises.

Basic information

Capacity	Seated dining for up to 160 guests. Buffet for up to 130 guests.
Floor	2nd floor. Long staircase from the entrance to the restaurant hall. No lift available as standard. A lift is available on request.
Basic equipment	Wi-Fi, music sound system, speech sound system, screen & projector.
Lighting	General lighting with step-by-step dimming. The restaurant hall has large windows with fixed blinds that can be fully closed.
Table groups	4 booths for 4 guests, 12 tables for 4 guests and 5 tables for 6 guests. Tables can be combined into 6 tables for 12 guests or two long tables for 36 guests. 5 tables for 5–10 guests. Table sizes can be adjusted.
Seating	Fully upholstered chairs with backrests. Armchairs with upholstered seats. Upholstered sofas in the booths.
Other information	For private events, tailored menu packages are available by order, either table-served or set up as a buffet. Allergies and special dietary requirements are taken into account for private events when confirmed in advance.
